The Dragon Run Adventure of Fat Boy and His Bike
We stopped, on I-75 just north of Atlanta to wait for Tom while he gassed up. The conversation went something like-a-this-a:
Dan: "Man, take a look at all the
pretty colors along the freeway. You don't see freeways in Florida decorated
like that."
Chris: "Forget the freeways - you don't even see
color like that in Florida."
Fat Boy: "The only time I see color like that in
Florida is when I open a bag of Skittles..."


No....
You're not seeing double...
It's the same picture.
Too many Skittles...
We stayed at Fontana Village - a community built to house the construction workers building the Fontana Dam...


....Which began construction in the 1942 as part of President Roosevelt's initiative to save the townships in the Tennessee Valley during time of flooding. If memory serves me correctly, there was a total of 11 dams that were constructed as part of the multi-purpose system.
But Fat Boy has had Skittles since then....

We took a spin up there and cruised around the dam (Dan, Chris, & Tom respectively)...
